Responding to the voice of God, we are obedient
to the exhortation of Isaiah 61, which teaches us
to: Preach the Gospel, mend the broken hearted,
set captives free, provide a house of praise and
worship, and rebuild waste places.

...In the Tabernacle of David people entered through the gate, then the
court and were suddenly in the presence of the Ark of the Covenant
(Psalm 100:4), which says, "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving,
and into His courts with praise..."

When we assemble together, we must first begin our approach by
thanking the Lord. Soon we begin to praise Him through worship and
song. Continual worship eventually leads us into the atmosphere of
God's presence.

There is no shortcut to the Glory of God. People come to church tired,
disgusted and hurt. They look at the minister and think, "Get me into
God's Presence and get me there now!" There is no quick formula, or
microwave solution, to get people more quickly in God's Presence.
They want to by pass all the praise and worship and get that 'feel-good
felling' within seconds of the opening prayer.

When we understand God resting among His people, we have a new
concept of the purpose from physical labor, as well as giving God the
opportunity to come among us and rest His Shekhinah Glory.

As God is at rest, HE BREATHES among us out of the Holy of Holies
"...out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water" -John 7:38.
